Hey Idexonauts! We’ve added the tweet you can reply to if you want to try out zkCompanions. This uses very cool tech called Paymasters which work a little different on zkSync than elsewhere: 🔹By holding the mint pass NFT you mint on Twitter you can mint the AI companion NFT on the https://zkc.idexo.com site without paying any gas. That’s because it calls a Paymaster contract that checks if you have the mint pass NFT and if so pays the gas for your mint tx. 🔹The same thing happens when you mint the ZKC tokens on the site. 🔹Then when you have the ZKC tokens it will call another Paymaster contract and take ZKC payment for updating your NFT (the UI for that is still WIP). We’ve done 0 promo for this at this point so not expecting huge usage at the beginning, however if we get good user feedback after the full UI is ready, we’ll roll this out as a new directional staking pool (with some allocation of mainnet NFTs and ZKC tokens) and launch the NFTs and system on zkSync Era mainnet. Lots of other ways we can use these Paymasters also - look for more innovations in that area soon.
