A quick announcement to let you know we’ve processed the reward claims for March and for Q1 2022 and they are available for claiming in the Staking UI. Tomorrow we will post on the blog an updated estimated APY analysis.
If this is your first time receiving rewards, keep in mind that monthly rewards are much smaller than quarterly rewards (25% of fees go to monthly rewards, whereas 50% of fees go to quarterly rewards, which accumulate each month for 3 consecutive months into 1 reward). For example, someone that staked 50,000 FIDO in time for Q1 rewards would have received a reward claim today of $1,130 USDC for their Q1 reward and $179.35 for their March reward, for a total reward claim of $1,309.35. If March 2022 was your first month of staking (or indeed if you staked any time after the Q1 deadline), then your first quarterly reward will be on June 30th.
